READING THE ROOM™ — FOR AUTOMOTIVE SALES ADVISORS
The behavioural skill nobody teaches on the sales floor. Built from decades inside the automotive industry.
25+ years in automotive L&D · 100+ Dealers trained · 10 modules, 47 lessons
The conversation was going well. The customer was engaged. Then something shifted - and they left with 'I'll think about it.' You still don't know what happened.
Your fixed salary ends soon, and the skills you'd need to earn on commission were never part of your training.
Every experienced advisor is your competitor. The competitive sales culture means you're figuring this out completely alone.
You follow the process, ask the qualifying questions - and customers put their guard up the moment you open your mouth.
You connect brilliantly with certain people and lose others instantly - and you can't work out what makes the difference.
You're not. You were just never taught how consumer journeys and buying-decision psychology actually work.
None of this is a talent problem. It's a training gap - and it's fixable in weeks, not years.
They do not want to be sold to. They want a buying experience. Traditional training teaches sales process, closing techniques and pushy selling — methodologies that directly conflict with how modern customers actually decide.

Product knowledge was once the advisor's primary leverage. Today, tech specs and feature lists no longer cut it when the information is freely available online. The customer does not need a brochure; they need a buying assistant.
Customers are more in control than ever. They conduct extensive research online and visit the retailer fewer times — 2.3 visits on average, according to Google. Every physical interaction must count, because you may not get another chance.

This methodology directly improves the areas Retailer's already invest heavily to fix — sales conversion, customer experience, advisor confidence, EV buying conversations, customer retention, managerial coaching consistency, and long-term commercial performance.
Reading the Room™ is designed for the reality of the sales floor. No academic theory without application. Just the concrete tools to read the customer and adapt your approach.

Losing one first-year advisor costs €15,000–€30,000 — this programme costs €3,500 and exists to make sure that doesn't happen.
A 10-module progression from foundational psychology to advanced showroom application. Every lesson focuses on practical behaviour you can use on the floor today to create a genuine buying experience.
How your own style creates or disrupts the buying environment before you've said a word. The quick win: immediate self-recognition.
Selling vs buying: the reframe that changes everything. Why closing techniques trigger the exact response that prevents a decision.
What each style needs to feel safe enough to buy, what each fears, and the two questions that identify style early.
Psychological safety as the precondition for every buying decision. Approach, pace, openings - and the six things advisors say that raise the threat level instantly.
Threat response in the showroom. Reading the shift before it's obvious. Recovery language for each style.
The heart of assisted buying. Listening as a commercial skill. The natural buying signal - and why a closing attempt at that moment kills it.
The handover, the follow-up, and turning one purchase into a buying relationship.
Four realistic scenarios, one per style, each with a shift point. Plus the self-review system that builds lasting skill.
The EV retention challenge, the referral engine, and the advisor's commercial legacy.
The course is built on the Wired to Buy™ methodology — a framework rooted in decision science, threat response, and behavioural psychology rather than outdated sales scripts. It replaces pushy closing techniques with a deep understanding of how customers actually process information and make choices.
This approach wasn't developed in a vacuum. It draws from decades of commercial experience, beginning with roots in psychiatry and evolving through 12 years with AB Volvo and 8 years at Volvo Cars EMEA. There, the focus was on designing consumer experience and commercial communication training for customer-facing staff across the continent.
Today, this methodology has been implemented by over 100 retailers throughout EMEA, with Retailer Principals and their teams personally coached to drive lasting behavioural change on the showroom floor.
“Customers don't need to be closed. They need to be understood and have conditions to make informed buying decisions. When you get that right — they close themselves.”

No. DiSC is simply one assessment tool used within it. The core methodology is based on behavioural science and assisted buying. The course functions entirely on its own to teach you how to read the room.
The course is entirely self-paced. Individual lessons run for 13 to 18 minutes. Most advisors complete the material in four to six weeks alongside their normal shifts, applying what they learn on the floor between lessons.
Experienced advisors often see the fastest results. The framework explains the psychology behind what you already do intuitively, and extends those skills to the customer types you currently struggle to connect with.
Exactly the opposite. The entire method is built around removing pressure and creating genuine psychological safety. Customers experience this approach as finally being understood, not as being sold to.
The €127 founding price is deliberately set so you don't need management approval. It is an investment in your own earning ability — and the knowledge is yours for life, wherever your automotive career takes you.
The founding rate is strictly limited to the first 50 students. Once those places are filled, the investment becomes the standard €197 and founding access will not return.
Your job is to stop blocking it. This course shows you how.
